The sad death occurred in Brisbane last week of Mrs. H. J. Webster, of Jericho Station, Central Queensland. Mrs. Webster, who as Miss Blanche Geary was well-known in North Queensland, qualified as a nurse in the Townsville District Hospital and left on active service in 1915, and served abroad till the end of the war.
Mrs. Webster was a sister of the Messrs. Geary and Miss P. Geary, Sunnyside, Woodstock, and Mesdames W. H. Goldrlng, O. Price, Roaditch, Rossvllle, and Plant (Athorten).

In charge of a hospital for sick nurses at Southwell Gardens, London. is Sister Elizabeth Geoghan, A.R.R.C., who was mentioned In despatches in 1918. She left here with the first hospital ship in 1914, and returned with the first unit of wounded soldiers. In Egypt she worked at Heliopolis, and later served for nearly a year at the 1st Australian Casualty Station. She was born at Kilmore, and trained at the Melbourne Hospital.
