The nursing profession in Western Australia has lost a capable and highly respected member in the person of the late Sister A.M. Youl who died last week after a long illness. A daughter of the late Dr. Richard Youl, of Melbourne, Miss Youl was a trainee of the Kalgoorlie Hospital. She later went to 'New'Zealand, returning toy Western Australia to become a sister on the staff of Perth Hospital.
Sister Youl relinquished her position at the Perth Hospital to go on Active Service abroad. For some years prior to her death on ' July 15,' Sister Youl was matron of Warwick Hospital, St. George's terrace.
Many friends and former patients remember her with love and esteem.

SISTER LOUISE YOUNG who is to leave for America during the week to visit her sister. Sister Young saw three years' war service. She was on Lemnos until after the evacuation, in Egypt, in England, and one year in France, and was invalided home last year.  Sister Young was a great favourite with her soldier patients. As well as nursing them, she was in the fortunate position of being able to expend most of her earnings on extra comforts for them. She is a daughter of the late Mr. W. J. Young, M.A., of Trinity College, Dublin, principal of Windsor Grammar School.
